Our client is looking for an experienced API Integration Developer to join their rapidly growing team in a cutting-edge hybrid work environment.

This is a hybrid role based both in Bucharest and Cluj-Napoca

Mission​
​
As an API Integration Developer, you are a key contributor within our clients API Software Development Lifecycle. You implement their integration business requirements into state of the art APIs and/or integrations. Together with a highly motivated team, you turn integration challenges, into valuable API/integration solutions.

​Responsibilities

Clarify stakeholder requirements;

Develop prototypes for new solutions based on business requirements and user feedback;

Create API Specifications which can serve as API contracts for development;

Develop new API features and/or functionality based on specifications provided by internal/external stakeholders;

Review existing code and make improvements or suggest new solutions to problems;

Test API’s after development is completed to ensure they function as intended;

Create and maintain documentation of software development processes and procedures for future projects;

Communicate development and/or project status to other team members, including managers and stakeholders;

Practice/think API-Led Connectivity;

Create/Manage Basic CI/CD Pipelines (Maven, GitHub Actions, etc.);

Provide technical guidance and mentoring to team members.

Skills / Requirements
​

Bachelor or master degree in computer science or another relevant field;
-
Knowledgeable around common data formats (XML, JSON), protocols (HTTP(S), (S)FTP), Web services / API's (REST, SOAP, RPC), authentication (OAuth);

Can support clients with technical issues or verify their technical integration;

Can review customer problems, against original designs and identify and document discrepancies;

Can manage multiple work streams and simultaneous projects in support of a growing API portfolio;

Is gifted with a critical thinking and problem-solving attitude, uses logical and analytical thinking to come up with creative and innovative solutions;

Has system development knowledge and understands a system development lifecycle;

Is familiar with project management methodologies (Agile);

Is fluent in English and likes working in an international environment;

Experience as a full stack developer is an advantage.
