Role

We are seeking an XML-experienced Application Support Agent to join our client’s team. You will be responsible for supporting a European database on medical devices, an online platform that provides a comprehensive view of the lifecycle of medical devices available in the European Union (EU). This platform integrates various electronic systems to collate and process information about medical devices and related companies, aiming to enhance transparency and coordination between different Member States in the EU.

​Responsibilities

  • Ensure and perform all communication with the end-users according to the service procedures and following the agreed KPIs.

  • Provide services to all stakeholders according to ITIL best practices, handling and documenting all requests and feedback.

  • Analyze XML files, identify errors, research potential root causes, perform tests, and report.

  • Keep internal knowledge up to date by documenting all relevant information.

Skills / Requirements

​

  • Strong knowledge of the XML mark-up language

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Good communication skills (written and verbal in English and/or French)

  • Previous experience in end-user assistance of information systems

  • Experience working with ticketing systems, Atlassian JIRA is a plus

  • Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, HTML, or CSS is a plus.
