Go Devops engineer

Description

Our client is a growing international company and its headquarters is located in Belgium.

They have several offices including in the Netherlands, Denmark and the United States.

Our client has been developing software solutions for more than 20 years and counts 125 employees spread over various branches.

Responsibilities

​

As a Devops engineer you will be responsible for :

​

  • Automating the building and delivery of the client specific ERP Software Platform.

  • Automating the installation of the client specific ERP Software Platform and the underlying COTS components. Create a single automated installation platform to be used by all customers including monitoring and patch installation.

  • Support internal and external customers on the client specific ERP Software Platform.

  • Support and augment the internal software development tools.

Skills / Requirements

​

Specific requirements:

  • You have 5+ years of experience in a devops role.

  • You have excellent knowledge of

    • A systems programming language (c, c++, rust, …)

    • LUA

    • Powershell

    • Bash

  • You have good knowledge of

    • Go (Golang or Go language) is key

    • Docker (nice to have)

    • HTML, css, javascript, json

    • Svelte is a plus

  • You have experience with

    • Oracle Weblogic

    • Oracle RDBMS

    • MS SQL Server

  • You are open minded, automation is your passion

  • You have a strong analytical mind set , are interested in everything technical and with a strong sense for detail and accuracy

  • Very good verbal and written English, French communication skills are a plus
